The AGRANA Fruit Poland customer “Vilkyskiu pienine AB” became finalist in the category “Best dairy ingredient”. Crispy roasted buckwheat, which is a fruit preparation product from AGRANA Fruit Poland, is one of the main ingredients of the chosen product. ‘We saw a fantastic range of products this year as innovation continues to ignite consumers growing interest in dairy said Food Bev Media’s Bill Bruce. ‘We also saw an increased number of entrants from Asia and Africa representing the healthy dairy market now present in these regions.’
Since 2007, FoodBev Media has organised the World Dairy Innovation Awards held at the Global Dairy Congress – designed to celebrate excellence and innovation across every category of the global dairy industry.
The awards categories range from products including Best cheese and Best yogurt, to Best dairy drink and Best functional dairy product; plus categories for brands; ingredients; packaging; design; manufacturing and processing; sustainability; and marketing and communications.
